Born in Concarneau and raised in Paris, Xavier began working with Damien Bénéteau in 1997 after completing his photographic studies in Toulouse. From 1997 to 2004, using the pseudonym « Les Cylopes », the pair directed their photography toward digital manipulation, emphasizing the fine line that separates the virtual from the real. During the same period they also worked for fashion magazines and daily newspapers. In 2005, Xavier reverted to using his own name and decided to pursue a different style of photography, embracing a variety of genres including portraits, fashion and landscapes. His editorial work has appeared in magazines such Flaunt, Visionaire, Sunday Times Style, Muse, Candy, kid's wear, Oyster... Since 2006, he has been making videos for Rochas ,Mac cosmetics and he is currently working on his first feature film.
